Départ très matinal en ce mardi 12 juillet pour réussir à couvrir cette étape de 31 km. Heureusement pour nous car il nous a fallu une grande partie de la journée pour y arriver. Finalement il sera 17h lorsque nous atteindrons la ville de Baja.

Notre étape ressemblera comme deux gouttes d’eau à l’étape de la veille, toujours sur une piste, cette fois-ci goudronnée au lieu d’être gravillonnée, le long du Danube et finalement un Danube que nous ne verrons quasiment pas, car toujours caché par une longue ligne droite d’arbres.

Heureusement pour nous, il ne faisait pas trop chaud, pas plus de 23, 24 degrés car nous n’aurons pas d’ombre tout au long de la journée , la ligne d’arbres étant beaucoup trop loin de notre chemin.

Bien fatigués, nous arriverons à notre hébergement du jour le Sisztetszi House, un grand et très bel établissement créé un moment donné pour les pèlerins, mais comme il n’y en a pas assez il a fallu étendre la location à d’autres personnes. En tout cas bravo, c’est très propre, c’est exactement ce qu’il faut au pèlerin. A l’intérieur de la maison, il y a même une petite chapelle pour se recueillir et prier.

Avant 19h, nous irons déjà dîner et pas n’importe où. Nous allons faire plaisir à Geneviève pour tout simplement manger une soupe de poisson, la spécialité de la ville et même de toute la région. Geneviève aura grandement appréciée.

Nous irons nous coucher de bonne heure car demain une grande étape nous attend à nouveau, nous nous lèverons d’ailleurs à 4h30 pour démarrer dans la foulée, après bien sûr un bon petit-déjeuner.

Aujourd’hui, dans la ville de Baja, nous avions prévu tous les deux d’aller chez le coiffeur, car ça commence à devenir urgent, mais trop fatigués et un peu tard nous remettrons ça à un autre jour.

      La coupe de cheveux de Geneviève n’est pas vraiment liée à la soupe de poisson, il est vraiment temps qu’elle aille chez le coiffeur…. Quant à Bernard, sa barbe il n’y touchera pas, il a trop envie de voir ce que ça pourrait donner dans 4 mois …..par contre pour ses cheveux il va falloir s’en occuper aussi.
