Ce matin nous prendrons le petit déjeuner uniquement avec Georg car Reinhilde devra déjà s’absenter à 7 h.

Contrairement à hier, pas besoin de poncho ce matin, la journée sera même chaude.

Après quelques kms, le petit bac qui fait la liaison avec Matthausen nous permettra de rejoindre la rive gauche du Danube.

Nous apprendrons qu’à cet endroit le beau Danube bleu fait quand même 240 m de large sur 4 à 5 m de profondeur. Les plus courageux pourront même s’y baigner si les 17 degrés ne les rebutent pas trop. Je pense à mon grand frère Joël qui cherche toujours les eaux fraiches pour ne pas dire froide.

Quelques kms plus loin, par la piste cyclable, nous rejoindrons le petit village d’Au an der Donau et son camping.

Par la suite, le village de Naarn et sa place centrale avec sa belle église nous accueillera pour la pause déjeuner.

A la fin du village de Pratztrun, une piste cyclable puis un sentier gravillonné le long de la rivière Naarn, nous mènera tranquillement vers la zone industrielle d’Arbing.

De là, par une petite montée, nous arriverons à l’église Jean Baptiste d’Arbing.

Il est à noter que dans ce petit village a été fondé et initié par Johannes Aschauer le 24 juin 2010 le Chemin International de la Paix.

Notre hôte de ce soir, Toni, viendra nous chercher à l’église pour nous ramener chez lui. C’est là que nous partagerons le dîner avec un très grand Monsieur, pour le nommer, en personne, Johannes Aschauer. Quelle grande chance pour nous !
